Jump With Hope:

Remembering September 11 and the Power of Living Fully

There are moments in life that the world never forgets — moments that change everything, that mark us deeply, even decades later.

On this September 11, Annaka shares her reflection, honoring those who lost their lives 24 years ago and the families who continue to carry that loss.

“Everybody remembers where they were — exactly where they were — on this day, 24 years ago. And I want to honor the families today… the ones that gave their lives for others and the ones that just sacrificed themselves because they lost hope.”

A Day the World Changed

9/11 was a day that reminded humanity of both its fragility and its courage. In moments of fear and chaos, we saw people act out of love — rescuing, helping, giving.

Annaka remembers it vividly, not just as a world event, but as a deeply personal moment.

“I remember where I was — pregnant with my first daughter at the time. I was about to give birth two months later. And today, she’s 24 years old.”

Life moved forward, as it always does, but the memory remains — a reminder that time passes quickly, and that every moment is precious.

Life Is Fragile — And That’s Why It’s Sacred

Standing in reflection, Annaka reminds us how fleeting time truly is.

“Life goes really fast. And yes, we have no time to waste.”

This is more than nostalgia; it’s a call to presence. To live while you’re alive. To create, to love, to give, and to make your days matter.

She connects the symbolism of that day — the heartbreaking image of people jumping from the towers — to something profoundly hopeful: the idea that we too must jump, but for a different reason.

“And I want to encourage you to jump — not because you lose hope, but because you want to do something with your life.”

Jump — With Hope, Not Fear

In The Taylered Purpose philosophy, “jumping” represents courage. It’s the moment you say yes to transformation, yes to yourself, yes to purpose.

It’s the moment you stop waiting for the perfect time — and simply leap.

“You have to take chances.”

Every dream, every healing journey, every transformation begins with a leap — not away from life, but into it.

Annaka’s reflection on this day isn’t just about remembering loss — it’s about honoring life by choosing to live it fully.

The Taylered Lesson

You don’t have time to waste.
You don’t have to wait for life to slow down before you start living it.

Let today — and every day — be a reminder that courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s the choice to keep moving forward with hope.

“I want to encourage you to jump — not because you lose hope, but because you want to do something with your life.”

Take the leap. Trust the process. Live with purpose.
